Outpost Bravo is a small research outpost located underwater inbetween Tokyo and Skull Island, being closer to Tokyo. It currently does not serve any purpose other than being mostly as an Easter Egg, though for whatever reason, it has a location marker above it. The structure itself is not considered a building in the same way that other structures on the islands are, and therefore cannot be damaged or destroyed.
In the Franchise
Outpost Bravo is based on Castle Bravo, also known as Outpost 54. Castle Bravo is a Monarch research facility in the Monsterverse film series and is located in Bermuda. It was constructed to study Godzilla, and was named after the Hydrogen atomic bomb used to kill Godzilla in 1954, but failed miserably. Unlike its film counterpart, which was disguised as an oil rig to cover up the elevator shaft leading to the facility complex located in an underwater cavern, this Outpost Bravo is entirely based underwater. Small kaijus can exceptionally fit in the tight spaces, with Cleric MUTO and MUTO Prime being able to noclip behind or into the outpost alongside Destoroyah

- This is one of three places in-game to not have any trees or buildings, the other two being the Mariana Trench and the Hollow Earth.
- This research center is one of the 3 outpost center in the game, the other 2 being the Birth Island Mothra's Cocoon emerging station and the other one in the Artic mountains, an outpost dedicated to research about Monster Zero
